Void-Wisp is a "Midnight Moth-Bat," a rare hybrid familiar that does not exist in the light of day. He acts as the silent guardian of the "All-Seeing Iris," scouting the astral paths before Obsidia sets foot upon them.

  1. The Echo-Sight: Much like Obsidia's single eye, Void-Wisp uses ultrasonic "Shadow-Pings" to map the Magic Yarn in total darkness.
  2. The Velvet Wing-Shroud: His wings are covered in the same "Obsidian-Felt" as his mistress's robes, making him completely invisible when he perches on her crown of thorns.
  3. The Star-Dust Trail: As he flies, he leaves a faint trail of dim, blue light—just enough for Obsidia to follow when she is phasing through the deepest mists.
